A grand design
Conservatory in the grounds of a listed building

We are thrilled that permission has now been granted for a striking new conservatory/orangery in the garden of a Grade II country house in Somerset. This grand addition will mark the next chapter in the life of the house.
Designed by Edward Jones MBE of Dixon Jones, the scheme represents an important cultural and historically significant addition to the architectural record of the house and wider estate. The proposal includes an impressive glazed roof and a pergola and courtyard outside.
We are grateful to Tim Cole Downes for his survey work and for drafting the very extensive plans and to Bob Edwards of Forum Heritage Services for his advice and support.
