New dwelling on a corner plot

We are delighted that planning permission has now been granted for a new dwelling on a corner plot in Stroud. The proposal is for the extension of a terrace to create a new 2 bed property and makes good use of a large garden, whilst retaining sufficient green space on the street.
The application followed a refusal for a similar proposal. We were able to identify the aspects of the scheme that had been problematic and prepare and submit a revised plan, which was ultimately approved.
This case is a really good example of the value of good planning advice and the difference that obtaining professional help can make. If you have had a planning application refused, it may be worth getting a second opinion.
