Why use a planning consultant?

If I can apply for planning permission myself, why would I need a planning consultant?

The planning system is notoriously difficult to navigate being part policy; part law; part geography; part politics; and so riddled with jargon and technicalities that even filling out the application form can be tricky.

Many planning applications are reasonably straightforward, but if your project is contentious or ambitious, or you have already had a refusal, a qualified and experienced planner can make all the difference.

The knowledge and understanding that a consultant can bring to a proposal can save you time, money and can help to achieve a permission, that might otherwise be turned down.

Whatever your building project, before you start, find out whether you will need planning permission. Most planning consultants will be happy to advise at this early stage.

At Whiteacre Planning, we offer a free initial consultation. We can let you know whether planning permission is required and, if so, what to apply for and how to do so. Just call 01963 371180 or email whiteacreplanning@gmail.com.

We can also provide planning drawings and work with a range of other specialists such as architects, ecologists and transport consultants to provide a full service.
